To celebrate a Life at Christmas in Witton Cemetery, Northwich. Each year in early December we invite the Northwich community to let a light shine in memory of a loved for  Christmas by dedicating a star to be placed on the “Tree of Lights” in Northwich Cemetery.

This event will be advertised each November,  and If you would like to dedicate a star for this special occasion, then please call at our office or any of the outlets to collect your Star.  You then need to write the name of your loved one/s and return the star to us, when we will place all stars on the Holly Tree where they will stay over the Christmas period until January.  A brief ceremony will be held at the time,  usually on the first Friday in December in the evening when the lights will be illuminated on the holly tree, and all names on the stars read out.  Everyone is most welcome  to attend.  Light refreshments will be served in the form of mulled wine, mince pies, tea,  coffee and soft drinks.

If you are unable to pick up a star at that time, please  get in touch with us either by email to  theresacash@northwichtowncouncil.gov.uk giving the name of your loved one or telephone our office on 01606 41510 and we shall arrange the rest for you.

A donation would be welcome, but is not obligatory.  Any proceeds received will go to the Town Mayor’s chosen Charities.
