Vickersway Park
Northwich’s Jewel in the Crown. There are many facilities in Vickersway Park which include Tennis, Crown Green Bowling, Crazy Golf, Children’s Playground, Outdoor Gym and a Bird Aviary, together with a small shop which sells ice cream, cakes, cookies, drinks and confectionery.
Please note: There are no dogs allowed in Vickersway Park
Verdin Park
The park is hired for events such as Car Boot Sales, Firework Displays, Carnivals. The cost of hire is £200 per day (or part day thereof). A returnable cash deposit of £1000 (Chief Officers’s discretion) is required when securing the booking. To book please click here for the booking form.
Banner stand hire is £35 per day. Installation and removal of banners can be carried out by Northwich Town Council for an additional charge of £50 each.
Church Walk Playground
As well as a Children’s Play Area, there is a children’s outdoor Paddling Pool which is open during the summer months, weather permitting. Although there are staff on duty at the pool, children must not be left unattended at any time, and any children who have not been toilet trained, must wear swimmers pants when entering the paddling pool for health, safety and hygiene. The Pool is open from mid April to September. Weather permitting. Online Booking is required. There will be one session in the mornings, and one sessions in the afternoons. There is a shop on site selling ice cream, snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Church Walk Paddling Pool is also available for private parties from 5:30pm – 7pm.

Open Spaces
The Town Council is responsible for Whalley Road football pitch. The cost for hire of the football pitch per season is £260. The hire for single games is £20 each for all teams. It is the responsibility of the team to mark out the pitch prior to games played. Northwich Town Council will mark out the pitch for £150 payable in advance. Anyone wishing to hire the pitches for their teams should contact the Chief Officer on 01606 41510. To book please click here for the booking form
Allotments
The Town Council have 4 allotment sites – Vickersway, Winnington, Austin Street and Queensgate. The Queensgate Allotment Association independently manages the Queensgate Allotments and the Vickersway Allotment Association independently manage the Vickersway allotments. The Winnington and Austin Street allotments cost £60 per year and are still managed by Northwich Town Council.
Priority for the allocation of the allotments will be given to Northwich Residents. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for an allotment at Winnington or Austin Street, then this should be in writing to Northwich Town Council, 78 Church Road, Northwich, CW9 5PB. For information regarding the allotments at Queensgate and Vickersway you should contact the respective Site Managers who will be able to help you.
