Ground investigation works will commence in Verdin Park on Monday 1st September. The ground investigation works will include geo-technical surveys to ascertain the geology and ground conditions, providing information for foundation and drainage design. Geo-environmental surveying will also be carried out to determine whether any contaminants are present.

These investigations follow on from bat and tree surveys that have already taken place, the results from these will feed into the final car parking plan. This will be available to view and comment on at a consultation event in late October.

The findings from each of these investigations are requires to develop a design suitable for considerations by the Local Planning Authority.
