Job Description: SEASONAL LEISURE ATTENDANT

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Join our friendly team.

We are looking for a part time seasonal leisure attendant (April to October). The days and shift times vary dependant on weather and school holidays. This role will see the successful candidates working within Vickersway Park and Church Walk Park shops.

Salary: SCP3 £ 9.82

KEY DUTIES:

  • Deliver excellent Customer Service, with a smile!
  • Serving of food, snacks, drinks and ice-creams
  • Cash Handling, till operation and daily balancing of cash for banking
  • Maintain and clean areas to a high standard, including toilets
  • Work as part of a team to ensure shifts are covered at all times
  • Stock Control of all products
  • Promotion of products and services
  • Locking up parks at end of shift

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working under your own initiative.
  • Organising day to day tasks.
  • Will be responsible for keys
  • Handling money/card payments
  • Locking of parks at the end of your shift
  • Reconciliation of till

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Basic food handling is advantageous
  • Driving licence preferable but not essential

EFFORT DEMANDS

  • Work to an established general routine
  • Regular physical effort required
  • Being able to work under pressure when the park is busy

ESSENTIAL

  • Qualifications Required
  • Basic education with evidence of basic numeracy and literacy
