The drop-in session displaying the proposed plans for the development of a new car park in a small section of Verdin Park, Northwich has changed location.
The event on Thursday 23 October will now take place at Northwich Town Council, The Council Offices, 78 Church Road, Northwich, CW9 5PB, from 10am – 7pm.
A second session has also been arranged for Friday 24 October in Victoria Infirmary’s Winnington Bank Room from 2pm-7pm.
The public are encouraged to attend and learn about the proposed development, which would create 40 dedicated parking spaces for hospital staff during weekdays (Monday–Friday). At weekends, these spaces would be made available to the public free of charge.
The drop-in engagement sessions will give people a detailed insight into the proposed location and layout of the car park, the anticipated impact on Verdin Park and surrounding green space, benefits to patients, staff, and the wider Northwich community, as well as measures to support accessibility and inclusivity for all users.
The proposed car park would be approximately 950 sqm, less than 2% of the total park area
